This YouTube clip is one of my 63.829 favorite moments in this week's SGA episode.

It's the one with Daniel and Rodney bonding in the secret lab they just found.

I'm pretty much grinning like a loon here, feeling ridiculously happy about this episode. I'm just all lkjafj alfkjdkj lajfkljk.

I'm completely ok with having to wait two weeks for the second part of this mid-season two-parter. Spread the joy I say!! In the meantime I'm going to watch this episode again and again. If anyone wants particular moments clipped, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

As far as I'm concerned this episode is a delight, full of the kind of moments that made me love SGA so much, and many references to previous episodes, which is always something I love.

There's a little bit of Keller in this, but not much, and no Becket, so that's a plus. And there are Chuck moments! And Zelenka gets to be clever again! And Teyla is capable! And John... oh John... It's difficult not to be too spoilery, so I'm just going to be cryptic and say that my daughter and I both bounced up at something Ronon says when they're in a hazardous situation. Oh, and there's a fantastic Rodney/John moment when they're not even together.

Please, at least try it. Is there anything you need to know beforehand? *holds your hand encouragingly*

Thanks to you and tex, I kind of watched it. By "kind of," I mean I turned the volume down every time Keller was on the screen (I am beginning to truly hate that character: OH NOES!). But that means I missed whatever it was Ronon said! Please tell me!

*makes big eyes at you*

However, the non-Keller bits? FABULOUS! Oh, oh, I do love me some Rodney with Daniel, with John being brilliant and Radek! And Chuck! The only person missing was Lorne.

When Ronon notices something is wrong, he goes to get Jennifer. Then he says: 'We're under attack, we gotta get to the armery and get you a gun, come on.'

His idea of protecting her is making sure she can protect herself; my daughter and I highly approved of that.

Such a cool episode. SUCH a cool episode. The only problem was the lack of team, but really, you couldn't have so many things going on if all four members were in the same place, so I forgive them that.

Thank you again for giving me the courage to watch the episode -- I would have missed out on a lot had I not.

There are so many moments! I felt enraptured pretty much throughout the episode, for a whole lot of reasons. I loved John in reluctant leader role! He so doesn't want to be in charge, and yet, he's such a good leader when he needs to be. Just like Rodney is always the first to admit he's a coward, but when push comes to shove he absolutely won't give up.

And Woolsey! And Caldwell! And Todd!!

And Atlantis!!!

Man I loved this episode to bits...
