(no subject)
Oct. 16th, 2004 02:27 pmJust a little note to say I'll be gone from LJ for a little while. Mostly because I'm busy (Mr D_E and I are going to a spa tomorrowmorning; we'll bring the kids to my parents and we'll spend 2 full days in the spa. Today I'm doing laundry, shopping & packing).
Ah well, LJ is not a friendly place at the moment anyway. Wank is coming too close, it's too difficult to avoid what with all the links. And most of it isn't about trying to discuss things, having conversations, being interested in one anothers opinions. It's mostly about 'I can slap you harder than you can slap me' versus 'Oh you think so? Well look at me being funny at your expense!'
I like coming here for the fun, the friendship, the fandom. Fandom is not funny at the moment.
I've also trimmed my friendslist a little. Saying something about that (even mentioning the fact that I trimmed) will be considered wrong. So will explaining myself. Or not saying anything at all. I'll just say, this is not about hate, this is about trying to avoid the wank. I want to be as far from that as possible.
If someone thinks they're being funny by posting something nasty in my LJ: they will get deleted. Including all the reactions to those comments, even the ones in my defense. Maybe nobody will get the urge to be nasty or react to that, because I never know how these things work, but I like to tell this beforehand.
Oh and to those who commented here: Thank you so much! I won't forget what I promised; I'll show you mine :D
