Some of you have a thingy hooked to your site and/or journal with wich you can tell not only how many people visited it, but also how they got there. Could someone tell me what it is, where to get it and how you install it?

[edit} What I'm looking for is something that displays where people are coming from. Friends of mine have started a site that gives information about a certain disorder. Info on that disorder was hard to find they found out when they were looking for it themselves, and they wanted to start their own site. They have a counter on it, and quite some people have found their way to that site of theirs, but they'd like to know how people found their site, and hopefully this will give some clue as to how they could make their site even more easy to find. Also, they're just plain curious...

Does that make any sense?

They're Dutch, the site is in Dutch and we discussed this in Dutch. I know what we were talking about, but I don't know if things get lost in translation so to speak!
