I love my sitemeter! *pets it*
There are a couple of things I noticed:
google:
- references from google searches are usually people looking for a certain type of fic or a certain pairing.
- no amusing references found yet (damn...)
- when people come in by googling a certain author & title of a fic, my site will often pop up earlier than the site of the author wtf?!?!?
- sometimes people find my site by googling something that indicates they're probably not looking for slash (*blushing* I hope they aren't shocked too much)
linked from other sites:
- most people that get to me through a link on someone else's site, come from Trianne or Hope's Lotrips site Directory, in that order
journals:
- mentioning that I'd updated caused a predictable peak and lots of references from people reading their friendslists obviously
- being mentioned at four_lobsters caused another peak and it was nice to see some of those not just running in and out again, but actually staying for a while (or keeping their window open while making coffee and walking the dog of course, I know, shut up)
