Jan. 6th, 2006 04:10 pmJust before the Christmas holidays my youngest strained some ligaments in his foot/ankle. Now they wouldn't play football for 2 weeks anyway, and outside the weather was too dirty to play too, so that wasn't much of a problem. But this week he wanted to start playing outside again, but soon came in that his ankle still hurt. So we went to see the doctor last Wednesday, who taped his foot and told him he wasn't to play football for at least another 3 weeks. By now the excess energy is driving him up the wall. And me along with him. We all hope his ankle will be better soon...
I let him watch all the movies he wants, and so far he's picked to watch: the extended versions of LOTR, the Truman Show (one of his all time favorites, he's watched it a gazillion times) and 'Bend it like Beckham' (and he winced extra over Jess spraining her ankle of course!)
