I'm very much in touch with the fandom, and it still came out of the blue for me! I mean, I knew the show was struggling with ratings and such, but I didn't realize the decision to cancel would come so early and so definite. I wish I was still blissfully ignorant, because now every episode (and we've still got 15 to go, including the one that will air tonight) will part of the big count-down.
Tonight's episode is one I've been very much looking forward to, so I'll try to make sure not to let that spoil the fun for me tomorrow when I see it.
