multiple fic rec: by woodcliff (4 Dom/Elijah, 1 Dom/Billy, different ratings)

Every time I get friended, and I don't know that person yet, I have a look around in their LJ. I had a great time looking around in this one! Worked my way backward through a load of lovely fics until I came across a couple I recognized. That was because I'd already read, loved and rec'ed them... D'Oh!

The following fics I hadn't read before (except for 'bling bling', which was on my list of 'gotta write to ask permission to rec' list). There's more where this came from, but these were the ones I personally liked best. She's written all kinds of pairings (Elijah/Daniel, Dom/Ian, Viggo/Karl, you name it), so if you're curious just have a look around at her LJ.


Dom/Elijah:

'Bite' R (my favorite! Mpreg, but not really. Uhm, what can I say; surreal, weird, funny. But also tragic and sad)

'Bud' R (weird, funny and sweet)


On a completely different note: some people asked for some more info on that Billy swing clip. Here and here are some articles on the event and pipsfolly had a lovely report in her LJ. It was friendslocked, but she said it was ok for me to copy/paste it here.

I knew her and her mate from this (http://www.angelfire.com/ma3/padders/twib.html) site and from the LOTR_RPS Yahoo group. I just didn't know she had an LJ of her own! Dombillijah.com is a group of sites hosted by Hope, right?

Have you read her Elijah/Daniel Radcliff 'cherry liqueur' wip? (in her lj, so I'm sure you've caught it) I'm not a handbasket girl myself but I adore this girl, I'll read her shopping list.

I'm so happy to find another woodcliff fan! She doesn't get many comments in her lj so I hope she knows she's beloved.

Oh that's funny about that 'cherry liqueur' series! I'd read the 'pilot fic' of that series: 'cherry tart'. That was back in the days when Daniel/Elijah was a brand spanking new pairing, and I loved that one very much. In fact it has always been one of the few I really enjoyed reading, I'm not much into that pairing for all kinds of reasons. Wait, I'll check...


Man, that was October 2002 that I wrote an email to her about that! I asked her if she planned on writing more. I only found out what more she'd written in the meantime while checking out her journal recently. Heh! I initially thought 'Oh, that title reminds me of that other story I read a long time ago, hey look it's even got the same pairing...' d'oh.

All the pieces of the puzzle are falling together now :D
