I love it when writers think up a good writing exercise and let us benefit from it. A couple of days ago [livejournal.com profile] finduilas_clln wrote this in an entry:

Want me to (try and) write you a small ficcie... give me a pairing, maybe a situation, or a few words or sentences that need to be in it. And I'll try my best. I haven't done this before, so don't shoot me if the result sucks. Or if I can't get a result. :( But it'll be a good training. :)

And here are the results (ratings are rough estimates):

"Moments" Billy/Sean (PG-13) written for [livejournal.com profile] hobbitfanatic

"Strawberries Sean/Elijah (PG) written for [livejournal.com profile] salogel42

Titleless fic Karl/Elijah (PG-13) written for [livejournal.com profile] samena

"Unreal" Peter/Andrew (PG) written for [livejournal.com profile] olivia_ramirez

"Lucky charm" Billy/Orlando (PG) written for [livejournal.com profile] bumbledee

"Slippery" Dom/Elijah (PG-13) written pour moi

Titleless fic Dom/Billy (G) written for [livejournal.com profile] plots_

Now, they're all lovely, but my personal favorites are the first one and the last two.

This morning I noticed that lately most of my entries are recs. So I planned to write something else, clicked my way around LJ while thinking about it, came across a fic that had me in tears and found myself wanting to rec it immediately.

So.

I'm going to give some feedback now and write my next entry. Which will contain a rec. At least there will be this entry and a birthday card between the new rec and my last one.

This fic is set in the far future, just after Dom's death. But it's not a 'death-fic' or anything. It's about life and love and it moved me to no end. In fact I'm choking up all over again.

Shit. Just read it ok?
