mood theme question

Ok, I've finally figured how this should be done, so I'm busy making my own moodtheme. The only thing I don't understand is this: I know I've seen people with mood themes other than the ones livejournal gives. For example I've found pictures I want to use for 'wtf', 'infatuated' and 'cheeky'. How do you make those words turn up with the pics? And will those words show up in the drop-down menu too?
