I put them all in the list, including the ones that weren't quite what I meant. When something is put between brackets, it's a quote from one of the comments.



Already seen (wanna see again):

Sniper 470: contains wank scene but he doesn’t get off .

As I recall, the phone sex scene in The Truth About Cats And Dogs is really very hot, so I recommend it.

Hey, I quite liked Quills! Though I don't recall any wank!scene. And the end was... o_O.

American Beauty is such a gorgeous movie, much better than I thought. Though I don't remember that wank!scene being that yummy. But a lovely movie, all-round.

Quills made me extremely uncomfortable, and I can't even explain what it was that made me want to fast-forward and be done with it. Oh well...

American Beauty is one of the best movies I've ever seen and I didn't even expect to like it. The acting is amazing, all around, good story, one memorable scene after the other.

The two wanking scenes that got mentioned are the scene at the start of Lester in the shower (sort of comical with the voice over, not meant erotic) and the scene of Lester wanking to the vision of his daughters friend bathing in rose petals (he doesn't get off though): fascinating scene.

His daughter and the boy next door: those two together move me to no end, every time. I love Thora by the way.

I'm sorry Quills made you feel uncomfortable. I really love it, though yes, it's quite rude and explicit most of the time. But the love story (won't name names to avoid spoiling it for people who haven't seen it) is so beautiful, and the acting is amazing. As for the wanking: I've seen the movie 2 weeks ago and I can't recall the exact scene *rolls eyes* but I'm pretty sure it's the marquis, peeping through a hole in his door.

And as for American Beauty: don't get me started, or I'll name every single one of my favourite scenes - in detail - and you'll still be here tomorrow, reading all of it. ;P

No, actually, the one masturbation scene in Quills (if you exclude Abbe's dream/nightmare, which I do) is done by Bouchon - the big, hulking patient with an infatuation for Maddy - as he watches Maddy read the Marquis' newest work to several of the other workers before they begin to roll in the hay and such. I'm not sure I would classify many of these masturbation scenes as porny. Save for a couple (Nora and Secretary among them) which actually succeed in being erotic, most of the movies that were mentioned just happened to have wankage - some of them quite brief.

I liked Geoffrey Rush as the Marquis de Sade; much more than I expected. Though it was such a thin line between love and hate. And I expected the worst from Kate Winslet, but she was actually pretty good.

American Beauty, though... Yeah, now that you mention them, I remember those scenes, though they never struck me as particularly porny. But a beautiful film, certainly. The scene with the empty plastic bag being filmed just gave me goosebumps, as did the scene where the neighbour came around. It just wasn't anything I expected. And it was all so human and flawed, and so real, which I guess is why I liked it. I don't remember Thora, by the way. I think I must have seen this movie about a year ago or something. The plastic bag stuck with me, though. It's just so less... well, Hollywoodian, I guess, than I expected.
