Today is our 16 years wedding anniversary. Yesterday, at supper, my oldest said 'I haven't bought you guys a present yet!' (which he never does for occasions like this, so I don't know where that came from). I told him 'that's ok, we don't even buy presents for each other', at which Mr. D_E made an exaggeratedly disappointed sound. Oldest turned to him and said, 'Well, you may just as well give that huge box of chocolate to your secretary then.' (not that he has one, but oldest is aware of all the clichés on this subject).
So no presents for us. No chocolate or flowers or whatever people give each other on occasions like this. But god I love this guy!
