This afternoon I've been (I think you call it) covering school-books for my oldest two kids. They hate doing it, and frankly it's something I enjoy doing, so everybody happy.

I'm eating grapes from my own garden and they're delicious *pops another juicy one in her mouth*

While checking out Wilby Wonderful fiction (and may I add there are some gems out there and I'm really grateful to [livejournal.com profile] starfishchick and [livejournal.com profile] isiscolo for pointing them out; ♥ so much! ) I found a real cute and sexy little Alias Smith and Jones ficlet omgsquee!!

My daughter had been re-watching (after quite a while) our 'The Calcium Kid' dvd with a couple of friends and told me bouncing that only now she'd recognized Angel as being Billie Piper; we both adore Rose :D

I found out through [livejournal.com profile] melloniel that Joe Flanigan has also played a very, very gay guy (told you I knew how to pick 'm! Although he doesn't qualify as a crush, I'm quite fond of John Sheppard). She's posted clips over at YouTube. The movie seems to be somewhat cringe-worthy (partly because of the cliches, but mostly because some of these cliches are so painfully realistic), but it's fun seeing him overact and then going all 'how did you guess I'm gay?!' *snorts*

We (my daughter, youngest son and I) are watching the second season of Stargate Atlantis, and my son is absolutely crushed because of what happened to Aiden Ford.

Every now and then I go back to drool over the pic spam of David Hewlett's on-screen kissing that [livejournal.com profile] tx_tart treated us to. That guy knows how to make a kiss look convincing, with women and men alike, but boy do I love the Sam/Rodney kissing scenes!!

Oh, and I don't remember if I already linked to The Callum Keith Rennie Interview Project, but that page has a well-ordered and huge amount of all things CKR. I especially recommend everything even remotely Wilby Wonderful related.

I'm sitting here at my desk, beside the door that's opened to the garden, and right around the corner is the vine climbing the wall; can't get them any fresher.

WAAAAH!!
There were wild grapes that grew around the daycare I worked at. Me and the other teachers would sneak 'em (not wanting the kids to think they could pick stuff and eat it at random, lol) ... then a KFC tore everything down and destroyed the woods next to our playground. Ohhh my God, it was awful. They were terrible, not putting in proper fencing after tearing ours down, making us stay inside cos of it... they had to be ordered by the city itself, getting closed down until they fullfilled the original order to make sure everything was safe with fences and the like.
I mean... the drive thru was so close, these huge SUVs would try to pull around everyone and run over OUR grass, six feet from the friggin door. :S

AS&J?!? OMG! I was so devoted to Pete Duel! Wilby Wonderful Fiction? Where? Is it an lj or a site?

*pokes*

It has been a few years since I searched for any new AS&J stories. I have a notebook full and I even bought some 'zines! Gosh, he was so twinkly and talented and what a sad, sad waste...

*sigh*

So many fandoms and only one old me.

((hugs))

Ha! I totally ordered Century Hotel the other day just for the DH boy kissing! *waiting for Amazon*

I didn't know JF played gay in Family Album! Dammit! I looked into buying it just because he was so cute in still from it, but it's only available at exorbitant prices as part of some package. Grrr. Thanks for the clip links!

Speaking of Century Hotel, have you seen the fabulous JF/DH AU vid The Writer (http://suzvoy.livejournal.com/1548082.html)?

Watching the Family Album clips was fun, but it doesn't really make me want to buy the movie. Century Hotel is worth it though, although DH only plays in one of the vignettes; he's damn good, and I don't just mean the kissing part. I've seen Darklight, and that's a pretty ridicilous movie, and still he's good in it. And it was fun seeing fandoms collide, what with Jim Ellison Richard Burgi playing in it also, heh!

I hadn't seen that vid by the way, thanks for the link :)
