I'm still very much at the start of the show (into season 3 now), but I couldn't resist watching episode 200, and now I'm looking forward to Vala.

Much like the introduction of Rodney McKay (in 48 Hours), Vala in her first appearance (Prometheus Unbound) is incredibly obnoxious, though larger than life and interesting. Fun, if you're not the person having to deal with her. ;-)

Oh I can definitely see how he will be missed! I'm still in season 3 now, so he's only starting to get grey at this point, but still 'in fool bloom' so to speak. My youngest son adores him.

Aw... Have you already seen all seasons? I guess it's different for those who are following the series in real time, then it is for people like me, who are watching the dvd's and still have a lot of seasons ahead of them. It looks like there is going to be a movie (maybe even more than one), and they're still going to finish season 10, right?

Oh, and I completely agree with Shanks too. It was a great run, and I've loved this show forever. Seriously. But its been drifting for a few years and getting gimmicky. I would have almost been surprised if scifi had kept it for an 11th. We'll see where it goes from here, but love as always for them all!

(And thanks again for sharing... I'd only seen a transcript before. ♥)
