I haven't seen a single Battlestar Galactica episode and don't know much about it, but I do know Callum Keith Rennie plays a part in it and I am interested in him. What I keep seeing on my semi-regular quest for CKR stuff, is snippets/screencaps from a make-out scene that involves him, one of the female leads of the series and a lot of paint (I think it is paint anyway). Can anyone tell me which episode this is from?

Oh! I hadn't seen the scene as such yet, just chopped up and used as part of fanvids. Man, now I'm curious for those DVD extra's; I'm all for seeing Callum sexing up anyone and this Kara is one hell of a good-looking woman.

I keep seeing all those violent scenes between the two of them, where she has long hair and stabs him, and scenes of her in BSG outfit and he's being interrogated/tortured/executed. It's scenes like the latter that keep me away from BSG... *winces*

Well, Callum plays a baddie ... as far as there are goodies and baddies in BSG. (There's lots of shades of gray. Very, very, very dark gray.) So it's no surprise he comes in for some harsh treatment. But he's a Cylon! So he comes back! \o/

(And I don't think I knew you were a CKR fan? You must join the_ckr_files! It's working through describing all his greater and lesser known works, with enough info to let you know if you want to chance watching a project or if it will be too much for delicate sensibilities -- very important, considering most of Callum's roles!)

Oh yeah, I'm a CKR fan for sure. I've got the Due South series, Hard Core Logo *points at your icon*, Wilby Wonderful *points at my icon* and Last Night on dvd, and kind of a lot of clips and bits and blobs of more or less obscure things he's done as downloads on my harddisk, plus some interviews (although he's very much a private person and almost shy when being interviewed). Also grievous_angel (with whom I share the love) lent me her Hard Core Roadshow book, with behind the scenes stuff of the movie, some of which is about Callum.

I'm a relative newcomer to Due South and CKR fandom, but OH YEAH! I also have a growing DVD collection, and a hard drive packed with CKR projects and clips. (Actually, I have two DVDs of HCL, because I tend to lend it out. ;-) Have only written a few fic, but I've been reading and reccing like mad.
