Thanks to the combined reccing forces of both princessofg and green_grrl, I'm in the process of reading every damn Jack/Daniel fic that paian has written, and besides that her writing is intense, gripping, emotional and a whole lot of other things that I wish I had the skills to express proper admiration for, they're making me incredibly horny...

I need uhm, breaks, in between stories *shifty eyes*

She makes me love Jack and Daniel so, so deeply. I've seen you talk about her so often, and I already read "Not us" because of your missing scene fic (both of which I love with a passion) and "Still life with cliché" because of your fanfic of fanfic (oh god...) and I only just recently realized that Paian and Komos are the same and I've read more fics by Komos.

Still, there's loads I haven't read yet (she's quite prolific! Yay!) plus every fic of her is so worth reading multiple times.

I'm quite amazed that she can write every sex scene so fresh and new and thrilling. There's a lot of sex in her fics, and still, they don't read like pwp's to me. Far from it. It's just very intimate. And yeah, I'll admit, extremely arousing.

thanks for your kind words about my fic; as you can tell, i find her work so so inspiring.

her jack and daniel characterizations are in total alignment with my own, which is part of why i like her so much -- i can read other characterizations, but her jack and daniel are the ones in my head.

plus, she's just such a good writer, technically, plus she weaves in all the emotion and the meaning into the sex. even her pwps aren't.

there is some stuff on her Komos website, but she has a nice index on her lj.

Her longer stuff is so good; and her gen stuff too -- Palimpsest was a tour de force.

i can't squee enough about her. i feel very lucky to be in fandom at the same time she is, especially since a lot of the newer writers in sg-1 are cameron fans more than J/D fans, but i heart my OTP.
