I loved it! My favorite bits were; Dean talking about cool stuff with beer-froth on his mouth, the shapeshifter coming up with a coupon when he has to pay for the pizza and the shapeshifter fumbling with his cape when he's talking about his difficult childhood complete with a sniffle.

And I liked the girl. They do a spoof-episode, introduce another shapely young woman with long blond hair, and I actually like her, and not just because she ended up killing the beast.

I loved it as well!

Some on my friends list weren't so keen but I can't see why. The humour was perfect and just what we needed after the angst-fest we've had and J&J played it just right.

I haven't seen many reviews (yet), but so far all I've seen were positive reactions, so at least we're not alone :D

I can't help it, I love Jensen in scripts like these. Of course it works best if you only have these kinds of episodes occasionally, but then they really work for me. But yeah, I could really do with a little humor right about now, because the show is getting pretty heavy.

And the guests acting were wonderful too (which isn't always the case). They had a great pick for who played the shapeshifter and I also loved whoever played Ed (I think his name was...
Even the pizza delivery boy with his 'oh fuck, another weird customer, it's clearly not my day...' attitude.

I've seen people say it was pointless and even boring. I don't get that, I thought it was really funny.

As you say the acting was great. Jensen is always good but I think Jared has really picked up this season and the supports were good too - oh pizza delivery boy, his face. He'd clearly had a few odd clients before!
