I'm trying to watch 'something for the weekend' on BBC2, because they've promised us Colin (Merlin) and Bradley (Arthur) are going to be guests, but they've started off with showing all kinds of recipes, which included an extreme close-up of some marinated chopped meat, and seriously, for a moment there I thought I had accidentally zapped to some medical program that documents surgeries.
>_<
*tentatively goes to sneak a peek again*
* (If something interesting happens, I'll just edit this post instead of starting a new one; I'm spamming my flist enough as it is!)
* Ah! There they are. Quite predictably Bradley is the cheerful talkative one and Colin a bit more shy. I like how Bradley turns to Colin a couple of times to draw him into the conversation.
* Oh god, they're cooking again...
* Good, while I was editing this post I missed Bradley sampling some of the food. If there's something that disgusts me, it's watching people eat on tv.
* How interesting, watching Bradley 'cook'. Can we just have an interview please? Now I remember why I don't usually watch these types of shows. All I learned about Bradley is that he doesn't cook, and orders steak in a restaurant. *yawns*
* Oh freaking... they're making some drink with eggyolk in it... *turns green*
* More talking with mouths full, and not enough time left to ask more than 2 questions that have been sent in. Oh well...

Hee, why? Is it that watching people eat in general is disgusting or does TV add something to it?

Date: 2008-11-09 11:38 am (UTC)I don't mind watching people eat when we're all at the same table, having some meal together. I specifically hate people talking with their mouth full, or listening to eating sounds. On a fandom related note; in fanfiction, food play is no kink of mine...

*flees*
Oh, wait. I've seen the first episode. That Merlin's a sexy beast. Very edible. ;-)

Date: 2008-11-11 07:40 pm (UTC)Oh, and in the movie 'Rocky' there's a scene where Rocky gets up in the morning, breaks several raw eggs in a glass, and drinks it just like that. I had to run for the toilet to throw up.
So yeah, I don't see me eating anything with raw egg in it.
Also, thanks for the visual I can now add to my lists of things I don't want to think about *glares*
Hee, glad you see the attraction of Merlin! Who cares about a few anachronisms in a story when it's brought to us in such a delicious package.
