On SGA 5x16 'Brain Storm'
The only good scene, here on YouTube.
On Merlin 1x10 'The moment of truth'
I need there to be a second season. This can't stop after episode 13. In fact, I want SGA to have a season 6, and the writers of Merlin to do that one too. They succeed on everything that the writers of SGA fail miserably.
Something entirely different. I guess everyone into SGA will already know that Jason Momoa (Ronon) got attacked last week. When I first read it, I thought (hoped) maybe they were just rumours or that the attack was exaggerated (140 stitches?!), but apparently it's true. I sure hope he's going to be fine! According to Joe Mallozzi (and the fact that he wrote about it confirmed that the attack story was true):
To the many fans out there concerned about Jason Momoa, I spoke to the big guy this afternoon and he’s doing fine. He’s on the mend, in usual high spirits, and looking forward to eventually coming down to Vancouver and kicking some alien ass. I let him know you were all worried about him and he greatly appreciates the thoughts and well-wishes.

Date: 2008-11-23 06:06 pm (UTC)I heard that the Merlin showrunners have a five-season arc in mind. Their numbers are great and it hasn't even hit US/Canada yet, so it looks good for at least getting the second.
I fully support the Merlin PTB doing more SGA! Or Russell T. Davies.

Date: 2008-11-23 06:32 pm (UTC)I understand NBC has picked up Merlin for a mid-season airing: NBC boldly goes where no major broadcast network has gone before -- across the pond. It bought this BBC fantasy series, which aims for a family audience like Brit hits 'Robin Hood' and 'Doctor Who.' In this version of the story, aspiring sorcerer Merlin befriends Arthur, whose father, King Uther, detests magic.
This could also draw more fanficwriters *rubs hands*
