After much consideration I decided to be weak, post this entry as far as I got and curl up on the couch with said chapter.

This fic has a clever (and smug) Merlin, the guys challenging each other back and forth, Merlin topping Arthur-- *has several moments* -- and Merlin being supportive when Arthur deserves it. There's faith, trust, loyalty and love. And we leave hoping this will be enough because of the thing that Arthur doesn't know about Merlin...

Written for the Merlin Kink Meme. Watching Merlin through Arthur's eyes, as Merlin cleans his sword. Unexpectedly sensual.

Yeah I know. Just read it anyway. Because it's one of those WIP's that has me panting for more. The guys are adorable beyond words.

Written for the Merlin Kink Meme. I love Colin's clever and slow seduction and Bradley's fascination and from a certain point I basically whimpered my way through this fic as it also hits my kink for fun, consensual, uncomplicated sex with lots of laughter turning into moans, and no angst whatsoever. Hits it hard.

Drastically Redefining Protocol is awesome! And I even only ever saw one ep of Merlin (namely the one that was broadcast yesterday, which didn't tell me a great deal about the relationship between Arthur and Merlin), so it's great even for people who are not following the fandom. :o)

DRP is one of those fics that have dark and angsty elements, which is not something I go for usually, but it just works here. I believe in this Merlin and Arthur.

(I'll admit to a short moment of pettish 'but tulips, wooden shoes and frikandellen are Dutch not Danish!' in the 4th chapter though.)

I knew Denmark was big on flowers, but I didn't know the rest. I figured she was just writing Arthur as being very "blond" about Dutch/Danish. But of course he's (an odd sort of) friends with Queen Margrethe, so he would really know Denmark.
