Request for help with animated icon.

It's actually for my daughter.

So, my 11 year old daughter writes one of the characters in a roll playing LOTR-HP crossover group on the internet. She's Eowyn, who's also an animagus (she can change into a horse). She came to me asking if it were possible to make an icon using one or more pics of Eowyn, a horse and a little quote (her favorite quote is: But no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Eowyn I am, Eomund's daughter. So a bit of that would be nice. Maybe just Eowyn I am)

Anyone willing to make something like that?

If I knew how to make animated icons, my dear, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I suck. :(

I can hardly blame you because I can't do it myself either! My daughter isn't fuzzy, and I can do icons (she's done some herself) but we can't do those animated thingies. Our oooooooold version of PSP can't do that.

I know moo_on_you can make animated icons but I'm not sure if she's on your friendslist. Want me to ask her for you?

I downloaded a program last weekend, with which I can make animated icons. They're nothing high tech or anything, but they are animated. I could give it a try for you. Or you can download the program yourself. It's called: JASC Animation Shop.

When I got home from work I found your comment and justinetre's icon. Thank you so much for offering! I'll ask my daughter tomorrow morning what she thinks, ok? If she'd like a second icon, would you want to try your hand on it?

Sure!! I already thought about making one, but I thought I'd ask you what kind of horse your daughter would like best (I was thinking of a white one), and stuff like that. But I'd gladly give it a try too!

I asked her and she was so pleased that you offered, especially because she knows you. I asked her what kind of pics she'd like, and she said, just Eowyn, a horse like she's holding in those pics (the brown one) and the same quote as mentioned in this entry, but this time in Dutch. She clearly prefers it simple and not switching too quickly. Would you like me to send you some pics to work with?

Yes, that would be great! Does she want the horse to be one of the horses from the movies, or even Eowyn's own horse, or could it be any horse? As for the quote, could you give me the exact Dutch version please?? The switching of the pics in my Karl icon is pretty slow. Do you want me to do it like that, or even slower?? And how many different pics would your daughter like me to use??

She's just found a couple of pics she'd like you to use. I can't send them to you from the computer I'm on now, but I'll send them to you tonight and I'll look up the quote too.

If you want anything changed, like different bases, or timings etc then just ask.
Also, I'm no good with text, but I haven't go any software that can do text better than what is in the icon...

My daughter loves it! Especially that horse/eowyn morph picture. She was thrilled to know someone even took the trouble of making her an icon :D

She likes to keep it the way it is now, just going somewhat slower. Is that possible?
