Hi there, never posted on your LJ before but I often lurk. I've sent you the mp3 for the song. If for some reason you don't get it let me know and I'll try again.

Enjoy!

Ah, someone's already sent it to you. I love that song too!! I don't think I have it on my pc (and I can't make Kazaa work anyway), but I'm pretty sure there's a live version of the song on 'Three sides Live', which I own. But the best version is the album version, of course. So I'd suggest buying the album. :) If your local CD shop doesn't have it, you could check out BOL. They really have a lot of stuff there. Good luck!!

I have the cd! I've had it for ages, it's one of the first we bought actually, but the second disc is damaged in such a way that it plays all except 'It'! I tried getting it from LimeWire (KaZaa stopped working for me long ago) but it has almost only newer Genesis stuff and the only version I found gave me a 'need more sources' routine.

What I plan to do is make a copy of the second disc, no 1-11 that is, and then add the download. I've done this with the Savage Garden cd: copied it and added an extra song that I had as an MP3 file. Works perfectly!

I should have known you have it. :) It looks like 2 people are sending it to you, so you should be able to copy one of those onto your cd. I hope the quality is the same as the rest.

BTW, are you using Nero to do that? I used to have a different copying/burning program (of which I've forgotten the name, because I'm dumb like that), and now they've installed Nero, and I have no idea how to use it. But I'm sure I should be able to find a manual somewhere on the web. I'd really like to be able to make cd's from different sources too - like mixes and stuff - that would be cool.

I have Nero on my old computer, and it always worked fine for me. Just start it, choose 'burn cd' and it leads you through it (choose if you want a music cd, or one with downloads and such (data) and then you can choose to either copy a cd or compile a new cd (this is what you choose when you want to make your own mix. Just be sure to choose 'music cd' if you want to put MP3's on a cd you want to use in a cd-player.)

Now I use something different, it came with the new computer and it works perfectly, although Nero was good enough for me.

I found it on Kazaa. I am also sending you another song, not from Genesis though, but from Brewer and Shipley. It is called 'Witchi Tai To' and I really like it. I hope you will too :)

Hey thanks! Both arrived and I've downloaded them. I can't listen to that other song just now, because hubby is watching tv, so that'll have to wait.

Hee! I've got 'It' again!

Ah, another thing we have in common! Although I only saw them perform twice, I've always been a huge Genesis fan.

Well, I'm particularly a Genesis fan from when Peter Gabriel was still in the group, although I also love their 'Seconds Out' live album, 'Trick of a Tail' and 'Wind and Wuthering'. I don't care much for what Phill Collins does solo, but I'm very interested in (most of) what Peter does! I've never seen them live though (not as a group, nor solo).
