You know, upon coming across the picture behind the cut, I just realized that my first ever question in this fandom hasn't been answered yet:




When has this picture been taken? Are there more pics in this shoot? Why is he dirty like that? Why isn't he dirty like that more often? What? Where? How? Who?

And why does it make me horny?

If I had to guess, he's dirty because the hobbits get increasingly smudgy throughout FOTR and beyond, and that inspired the photograph to show him really filthed up.

I think it's cool, and looks great; I mean, they can't all be perfect shots of him in pretty clothes smiling or making frowny faces. It'd be boring. And photographers are always trying to distinguish themselves by trying something different.

Yeah, and sometimes different works too. I've always been fascinated by this pic. In a way it's a disappointment to know it's just for the photoshoot.

And of course it's just that, but I like to fantasize something different...
