Advice please!! I want to register for RingCon 2006, because so many LJ people are going and I want to meet you all. Oh yeah, and you never know, maybe Elijah will actually come too...

But.

What's best to do? Economy, Silver or Gold? What are you guys buying?

I'd advise buying the Economy ticket and then buying the autograph vouchers of your choice once the guests are announced.

Hey, it would be great to meet you all. But where does this rumour of Elijah attending come from? He was rumoured to have been too expensive for this year's con. Chances are he'll be too expensive for next year's event as well. Not to think of filming commitments. That said, I would be the happiest person ever if he attended. *beams*

So it is possible to get autograph tickets separately, after you've bought your ticket for the con? Is it also possible to buy tickets for certain events at the con itself? How soon do the tickets run out, in your experience?

As for the rumour: I looked around on the site, and the announcement was on the message board.

Oh my, I should have checked my email account a bit earlier. But I think now your questions have all been answered, right?

As for events - the last two years there were no events for which you had to pay seperately and I am not aware of there being any planned this year. Oh wait, I think two of the workshops cost something - the chainmail one and the sword fighting one (you have to have a sword, too).

With events I meant also autographs and photo ops, and maybe Q&As, and stuff. I take it if there's a Q&A, that's included in the ticket??

A SWORD FIGHTING workshop?! And you have to bring your own sword??! Good to know! I'll make sure to polish mine up in time. ;P

Yes, the Q&A (called Panels at RingCon) are included in the ticket price.

*giggles* Oh yes. And it looked quite good. I saw them practise - and some of those who took part did a little show on stage afterwards! *impressed*

Although, to be absolutely honest, a workshop about how to bake a seed cake would have been much more appreciated by me (or the best uses for lavender oil... *coughs*).

The announcement is on their forum, and they are very reliable. If they say he comes it means that they have a contract with him.

Having said that, there is always a clause in these contracts that if he gets film work and can't get away he will not come. So there is never a 100% guarantee. But I am willing to take my chances :-)

Oh yes, better plan now and then be sorry if he doesn't turn up, then wait and not get a ticket if he is there in the end. *panics*

Well exactly. By know so many of us are going that it will be fun whether he shows up or not!

But then my real hope is that both Elijah and Craig will be there since they are my OTP.
