Yesterday evening was a very busy one at work, and at least my cold was kind enough to put it off until today to really break out full force. I won't have to be in for work until next Tuesday, so I've got plenty of time to shuffle & snuffle around in comfy clothes.

Officially it's nothing to call in sick for, but I hate standing at the bar, sneezing and coughing in the crook of my arm between handing out snacks and drinks. I'm not scheduled for a couple of days anyway, so I can take it easy for a while :)

It really is that time of year: most of my colleagues have colds coming up and this morning my youngest was complaining of a sore throat.

At the moment it seems like I'm mostly transferring my cold to him, in stead of him warming me up; last night we were both shivering! We decided to put a warmer duvet in the cover. I hope that will do the trick. Oh, and I've added coughing to my sniffling. I don't have headaches or anything though; I'm just so damn tired all the time!! But it's weekend now, we can sleep in. I'm looking forward to that!

Hm, yes, I guess that's a side effect of the "sweating on him" bit. You two snuggle up in bed and stay there all weekend. I'm sure you'll feel a lot better on monday!

Cutie colleague had a really nasty flu for two days which left him with no energy for anything. Bad news was, this happened while he was in Brazil, and as he didn't even have the energy to tell anyone he was sick and just wanted to be left alone, we went into panic mode when we couldn't reach him. Luckily, just when I was about to start yelling at Cutie Boss to Do Something Phone The Bloody Hotel And Have Them Check On Him Already, he rang us up and told us what had happened. He's feeling a lot better now, bless him.

Ah, it's clearly that time of year. Everybody's having a cold or on their way of getting one. Good thing I decided to get mine early! I'm really not much on-line now, because my eyes keep tearing when I try to read the screen. The good news is that I'm almost done copying the second batch of QAF episodes, just 4 more to go. When I've send them to you, you can use the envelop to send the two who aren't working for you back. I don't know what's up with those, because they worked for me, so I'd like to check if something went wrong along the way. How do you play them? On a dvd-player, or on the computer? I have better results on the computer, in case you haven't tried that yet.
