Ooooooh, I'm finding John Sheppard increasingly hot, starting to appreciate Ronon ever more and the combination John and Ronon is great. On a more spoilery note: I loved that scene with Ronon pacing around impatiently, like a trapped animal, John trying to reason with him, resorting to promise to fight him to the death himself if it would come to that, a remark that helped Ronon calm down a bit and them smirking at each other. That was just brilliant. The clashing/mashing of personalities and them bonding (more) over their sense of humor.
John with rolled up sleeves is way hot...
I dearly love Teyla, and I'm so glad to see more of her in this episode, her strong personality, her compassion, the way she manages to bring out the best in people, her high standards.
I'm not the biggest Beckett fan around, but the way he calls Teyla 'love' never fails to mollify me.
Rodney was a bit routinely done this episode. Of course there were these moments, such as when he tries to be more tactful when he finally gets Teyla's hints (several times), when he gets all flaily broken voiced when rescue arrives. He still has to get used to the idea that people won't leave him in order to save themselves, but is ever more naturally inclined to not think of his own safety first in favor of his friends.
I'm getting a bit sick of John always implying he doesn't care for Rodney, and I'm glad Teyla is there to remind him that he does.
All in all, a nice episode, although not one of my favorites, but they can't all be 'Echoes', right?
