For those who missed the 'Happy Feet road to the Oscars' clip, there's a subtitled version at YouTube here.

You can save and convert the clip using Vixy (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kohaku1977 for the tip!)

And in case it gets taken down, I've saved it: here (right-click-save please). If you have trouble playing a saved version, try using VLC player.

I'd missed it altogether! And then I saw it had been posted on YouTube but deleted again. So in this case I'm glad that once something is out on the internet, no amount of deleting can make it disappear again ;)

I found a new site for downloading clips from Youtube. It converts clips to avi too! Vixy.net (http://vixy.net/)

Aw, the clip is so cute.

Thanks for pointing this out, luv. It was so cute - I was beginning to think I had hallucinated it, since most peeps didn't see it. *hug*

Sorry this is sorta off topic... but do you know if KeepVid (or something similar, most preferably freeware/shareware) can snag vids embedded on pages like this one (http://www.myfoxcleveland.com/myfox/pages/Entertainment/Detail?contentId=2524968&version=2&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=VSTY&pageId=7.1.1)?
Is there something I'd need to find in the source code to put in the vixy.net type thing, or is it the wrong file type for that?

Unfortunately I haven't got a clue how to snatch clips like that, just the ones that already give a code like at YouTube. Sorry!
