rodneyscatI love reading Joe Mallozzi's blog. I especially enjoy entries like this one on SGA episode 5x3 'Broken ties', where he writes about writing.
I have to quote this little exchange that didn’t survive the first draft,
(in case you haven't seen the episode; Rodney just told John that he tried sitting in a bath because he hoped relaxing would make an idea pop into his head, and then he asks John for a fresh view on the matter)
