Well, seeing as I'm deliberately trying to read them slowly, because I want to spread the fun as long as possible, it doesn't sound strange to me.

I make myself read them only on my way to work and during my breaks. They're lovely books to savour, you know, to read a couple of chapters, and then let them sink in.

The cover-art puts me off big time; they look like harlequin novels to me, and I wouldn't have started them if they hadn't been recommended by people whose taste I share. They're anything but fluffy though. Especially in the second book there's some extreme violence. It gets very dark. But the character development is wonderful, and the writer has me care for them so damn much.

Do start on them!
