Merlin related, starting with Colin and Bradley on 'Something for the Weekend'.

Yesterday I found a decent torrent. I made clips of the bits where they were actually on (because the whole program is 90 minutes and not all that interesting) and uploaded them to my Imeem account.

Someone else uploaded a compilation clip of the show to YouTube.

I've now watched the first 10 episodes of the first season and wow... Aeryn Sun is definitely getting to me. And episode 9 'DNA Mad Scientist'? I was so damn moved and shaken at certain points. I expected the series to be funny, exciting and weird, but it's also sexy, moving and surprising profound. And damn but the characters are interesting!

Tearing at clothes, shoving into walls, frantic, urgent and/or angry sex.

The icon I'm using here got darklock and me talking about how frantic/angry sex in fanfic is a kink of mine. She asked if I had any recs posted, and I was surprised to realize that I don't think I did. Not specifically. So I'm copy/pasting what I wrote in that comment, and hope it'll inspire some of you into adding your own favorites of this type of fic:

There really isn't enough 'rough but consensual', 'taking it out on each other' sex as far as I'm concerned. I'm thinking about trianne's 'Dysfunctional' (Elijah/Dom), or cesperanza's 'Push and Pull' (Blair/Jim), or 20toseoul's 'Frustration porn' (Rodney/John). Her 'Science discipline' (also Rodney/John) doesn't quite fit the description, but I'm adding it anyway, because hot damn... it comes close enough for me!

And I never made a special rec post about that *fail* These are just the fics I remember from the top of my head.

Must remedy that.

[edit] I knew I must have dedicated an entry to it earlier! And indeed I did. Over three years ago, so I don't have to feel too bad about asking again. It's a historic entry by the way, because this is the one where princessofg recced me the story that got me into The Sentinel :D
