I give up. I hunger too much for better quality pics of Elijah for my own good. I know I'm risking a massive exodus from my friendslist, but so be it.

And I found some pics of Elijah at that festival in Prague, where he was seen with that girl. You know of whom I speak. There seem to be more pics of them together. Nothing spectacular. No snogging or whatever. Maybe they weren't even visiting the party together. Who the fuck knows.

The thing is, it's some montage of pics and two blueish scans. I wonder if anyone has seen better quality versions of these:

Hmmmmm. That blonde chick Elijah was seen with at Karlovy Vary has supposedly been identified as his PA or PR person...so maybe this one is his local liaison or guide? She looks very Eastern European to me anyway, and at least in these pics she seems less intimate with Elijah than the blonde PA/PR chickie.

Or maybe I'm just desperate to hang in to the illusion that our wee geek is single.

I think it still comes back to the thing that anything time he's photographed with a woman, many jump to the conclusion that it's his girlfriend. I've heard various theories, that she was a personal assistant, a translator or a media person for EII. Only a few people most likely know the answer to that. If it is a girlfriend, however, I hope they are having fun.

I agree with you. I think she's very good looking. But because she looks natural, and isn't painted up like some Hollywood slut, most people will think she's "plain", when pretty much any woman looks "plain" when she's not in makeup. But try and tell jealous girlies that. *rolls eyes*

I've heard that she was his interpreter, but that was just speculation as well. Makes sense to me, though. There's nothing to suggest intimacey between them, even though she seems to stick right by him. So that's my opinion, as well.

The two 'bluish scans' are screencaps, I believe. I'd love to see the whole clip!

I was discussing this with salogel42 in chat last week, and I must say I'm surprised that everyone thinks she's older than Elijah. She doesn't look that old, does she? I mean, she looks like she could be his age to me. As for intimicay: they look at ease with each other, and she's sure looking adoringly at him in that first pic - but then, who wouldn't. ;p I also think her features look very much Slavic, so yes, she could very well be his translator. But (yes, I'll be the party pooper), what about these rumours that they were kissing??

Someone else who was there said they also saw him kiss the blonde, too. Having seen him interact in person with a lot of different fans and friends, etc. I can safely say the guy is a big, friendly puppy cuddle slut (especially when he's been drinking) so I don't think merely kissing or hugging any random person (male or female, for that matter) "means" anything. The problem with reports like these is that in text, you can't tell the difference between a friendly kiss and a romantic kiss, and whatever spin the observer wants to put on it (from wishful thinking or inexperience or whatever) is what the report gives us. This is why we get things like people assuming he's dating his sister, because they don't recognize her. I don't see any body language in those pics that's any different than the body language he had with the blonde.

Obviously I have my own opinions about the overall situation, but I will say that surface-level behavior like that honestly doesn't mean much regardless of whom it's with, and frankly, I find the whole thing rather silly. On a level of slash or fantasy, I can understand people pairing up any random couple of people who so much as make eye contact, but on a realistic level, it honestly doesn't make any sense for the poor guy to be assumed to be dating everyone he touches. Last month he was supposedly dating the director of The Yank or one of the crew on that project. Before that, he supposedly had a limo shag with Fiona Apple and/or her engaged friend. And then Scarlett Johanssen, Kelly Osbourne, Katarina Witt, etc... Too many people don't take surrounding circumstances, or his character or past behavior into consideration. Even if I weren't convinced (for hundreds of reasons there's no point in going into here) he and Dom are a couple, I still wouldn't buy these random pairings of him with virtually everyone he comes into contact with. Now, if there was a specific person he started consistently showing up to events and holding hands with, over a long period of time, and in multiple locations, etc., then that might be something to ponder. But I think it's obvious that he's going to have assistants on this job, and is going to be friendly with them, as well as friendly with fans, etc. and I think people are jumping to (imho) ridiculous conclusions on this one. Honestly, if she were really a girlfriend, would he have been hanging out with all the other women at that party, too? Would he have been kissing the blonde?

Re the girl, I can only go by my gut feeling, which is all anyone can do really, but I'd say she's a translator. He really would need one at any social event over there - and I just don't feel that they're together. And that ComiCon pic - I adore it. I thought that look really suited him - wish he'd go for it again.

FWIW regarding her age: as a rule and this is not hard and fast, but as a rule the deep lines on the side your your nose appear after age 30. So as a rule, you might say that someone with those lines would be 30 or better.

I am only for a few minutes at home, between two journey for frëe
