I give up. I hunger too much for better quality pics of Elijah for my own good. I know I'm risking a massive exodus from my friendslist, but so be it.

And I found some pics of Elijah at that festival in Prague, where he was seen with that girl. You know of whom I speak. There seem to be more pics of them together. Nothing spectacular. No snogging or whatever. Maybe they weren't even visiting the party together. Who the fuck knows.

The thing is, it's some montage of pics and two blueish scans. I wonder if anyone has seen better quality versions of these:

I think it was the press agent for EiI that said the girlfriend's name is Emma.

Keep in mind that Allie who reported this item is Czech and is trying to translate into English.

Since Elijah has ONLY been in The Czech Republic for the past three months it is only reasonable to expect that the main reports about him will come from Czech sources. And why they should be considered less reliable than any others is beyond me.

Prior to this Elijah said while filming Hooligans/The Yank that he was smitten with a new girlfriend who was a brunette.

Is this the same girl? Seems most likely given the timeframe. But we'll all just have to wait and see.

Ok, I misunderstood Allie then. Fair enough, esp since I'm not a native English speaker myself. =)

I'm not saying that the Czech newspapers and gossip rags would be any less reliable than others, I would just like to see SOME reports about this issue elsewhere too, before jumping into conclusions. AFAIK, various magazines and websites around the globe have repeatedly reported that Elijah has a girlfriend -- after he's been spotted hanging out with his sister. So you know, I'm just taking this with a pinch of salt until we start seeing more reports in other media outlets about Elijah and his gf.

And as for that report before The Yank, if I recall correctly, the story appeared on ONE website, ONE single obscure gossip & news site out of kabillions. I think most ppl dismissed it as a useless rumour when further reports and information was nowhere to be found.

I know this may sound like a desperate attempt to hold on to a feeble illusion that our Wee Geek is still single, and maybe it really is that, I don't know. Being a sensible and somewhat grown-up (HA!) person inside this fangirlish appearance, I should have no business thinking twice about it, nor any interest in our Wee Geek's lovelife in general. But for some weird reason I am thinking about it more than I should, and Elijah's lovelife does tickle my curiosity regardless. But like you said, all we can do is wait and see. If he really does have a gf, this Emma person or whoever, sooner or later she will be "outed", either by Elijah himself or by the gossip rags. And then we shall know the truth. =)
