So... I probably shouldn't mention its proximity on that website to other EII-connected photos, though, granted, the caption on that one says "EI" rather than "EII". *ducks and runs*

(According to my dictionary that means something like 'nearby', but I guess you don't mean there are EII-connected photos 'near' that site, because that doesn't make sense...). The caption of what? The site? (Because you say photos, plural, and you refer to 'that one'). And if you mean site, do you mean the one I linked to or the one undone27 linked to?
Oh, sorry! *sheepish* I was assuming that you got the picture from this page (http://www.fantasyplanet.cz/lotr/galeriefilm.asp?start=1) on that Czech website, where that photo is right next to two others from the filming of EII. So, I guess I can't make fun of you, after all, dagnabbit. Better luck next time.
I've seen that before. I don't think it's photoshopped - that's Alistair McGowan, and I know he's in the movie. Mind you, I thought he was playing a rabbi, not Hitler.
It confuses the hell out of me though. I mean, I've *read* that book. I'm sure I'd remember a scene where Alex becomes the love child of John Travolta and Clark Kent, and Hitler wears jodphurs and they commune under what looks like some kind of giant graven image o.0
The script for the film is actually based on an excerpt of the book that appeared in New Yorker magazine, not the book itself. So my guess is that quite a bit of liberties were taken. Liev wrote the screenplay, not JSF.
We're gonna have to wait til next year to find out for sure but "dork" is putting it mildly. The real JSF sure doesn't look like that (except for the glasses -- not nerdy glasses like those tho -- and black hair).
